As we age, unfortunately our brows and eyelids can "droop" or "sag" giving us a tired or angry look. Wrinkles on the forehead or between the eyes may also exacerbate this effect. A browlift alone, or combined with a facelift and/or upper eyelid reduction, may be the answer.
During a browlift procedure, an incision is made across the top of the head and the skin is pulled upwards and trimmed as necessary. Eyebrows are elevated and sutures are used to maintain their position and the wounds are then closed.
Dr Haertsch uses a traditional technique in brow and facelifts as endoscopic procedures have not withstood the test of time.
